Mbouda: Man shot dead by Police Commissioner for urinating on the street
A police commissioner serving in the city of Mbouda in the Bamboutos constituency in the West region has shot and killed a man for urinating on the street. Cameroon Intelligence Report gathered from local media sources that the commissioner, suspected of being under the influence of alcohol shot at close range, the young man trying to satisfy a natural need on the main Mbouda roundabout.
Relating the circumstances of the tragedy, community sources reported that there was a brief exchange between the officer and the young man called Joseph Talla. The police commissioner asked the young man not to urinate on the street. The latter did not comply. The police commissioner shot him on the spot with his gun. After the crime, the police officer in a typical CPDM pattern was ferried out of Mbouda to take refuge in Bafoussam, the regional capital of the West region.
