Prospects bright for Chief Inoni to gain his freedom
Six former barons of the CPDM regime jailed under Operation SparrowHawk could benefit from a presidential pardon according to sources close to the presidency of the republic. Cameroon Intelligence Report is yet to confirm the correctness of this breaking story. However, our chief intelligence officer in the nation’s capital Yaounde hinted that the six to gain their freedom soonest are:
Chief Ephraim Inoni
Seen here when he was top in those days, Chief Inoni was Prime Minister and Head of Government between 2004 and 2009. The traditional ruler of Bakinguili village in the South West Region was sentenced in 2012 to 25 years in prison.
Barrister Yen Lydian Eyoum
The Douala based Lawyer with French nationality was sentenced to 25 years in prison for embezzlement.
Paul Ngamo Hamani
He was sentenced to 20 years in the Camair-Co affair.
Emmanuel Gérard Ondo Ndong
Originally from the Ntem Valley (South), the former CEO of FEICOM is being held at the building hosting the Secretariat for Defense since 2006.
Gilles Roger Belinga
Former General Manager of CIS (Real Estate Company of Cameroon) also held at the Secretariat for Defense since 2006.
Joseph Edou
Former General Manager of Crédit Foncier of Cameroon (CFC).
