Cameroon: Highest Ranking Anglophone General Dies in France

Correspondingly, the Ossing Development and Cultural Association (ODCA) and Ossing elders in Yaoundé confirmed with a heavy heart the loss of their traditional ruler, His Royal Highness Chief General James Tataw called to the land of his ancestors yesterday, Wednesday, the 24th of July 2019 after a brief illness in Paris, France. The renowned soldier and ex- CPC Bali student had left Cameroon for France two weeks ago for a routine medical checkup
Chief Tataw James served the Cameroon military with distinction for over five decades and was installed as the Paramount Chief of Ossing in February 2006 following the passing to eternity of Chief Solomon Ashu Arrey on May 2005 after ruling the village for more than 35 years.
