French Cameroun police arrest aunt in Ebolowa poisoning case
Three children aged 10, 8 and 4 were poisoned by their aunt in Ebolowa, the chief town in the South region of French Cameroun.
Their mother’s sister offered the children a meal that included a sauce in which she had dropped a toxic concoction inside. After eating the meal, the children demonstrated frightening signs of discomfort and were rushed to a nearby hospital where both the 10 and 8 years old passed away.
The youngest is reportedly fighting for his life. Their aunt who had fled, was caught en route to Yaounde and she confessed to the evil act.
According to several concurring sources, the aunt was expelled from her first marriage for poisoning a neighbour.
