Ambazonia: Head of State promises to keep military options open against La Republique
The interim president of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia has promised Southern Cameroonians that the Governing Council will continue to keep pressure on La Republique du Cameroun – and keep military options open.
Sisiku Ayuk Tabe in an interview with France 24, said the independence of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia is non-negotiable. “All of the options available to me as president of Ambazonia – including the military option – will remain available”.
“We have a wide range of unilateral and multilateral responses that we can employ should La Republique du Cameroun fail to withdraw its forces from our country.”
President Ayuk Tabe spoke with France 24 in neighbouring Nigeria where he has sucesssfully established a political base for the Southern Cameroons struggle. Ever since the 4th conclave mandated the Sisiku to form a government, he has been privately reaching out to Ambazonians in the Diaspora in a bid to boost support for the struggle.
On Friday the 17th of November 2017, President Ayuk Tabe told the London Political Conference that he was confident the Federal Republic of Ambazonia would have the votes necessary to join the United Nations.
With support from the Southern Cameroons Diaspora and the majority following back home looking increasingly secure for the president, Cameroon Intelligence Report understands the Sisiku will be announcing a cabinet soonest.
Just few Southern Cameroonians in the ruling CPDM crime syndicate have defied President Ayuk Tabe by publicly rejecting the quest for independence.
Sisiku Ayuk Tabe has picked up crucial support from Southern Cameroons veterans such as Mola Njoh Litumbe and Ambassador Fossung in recent days, including some pro La Republique sceptics who said on Thursday that while there were divisions in the struggle, it was clear that “Southern Cameroonians were united behind Sisiku Ayuk Tabe.”
