2016 Women AFCON: Ngatchu and the girls moving slowly but surely
The Indomitable Lionesses’ camp has been reinforced after the arrival of six professionals who were delayed at the level of their foreign clubs. They are; midfield play maker, Raissa Feudjio, attacker Ngono Mani, Bengono Catherine, Agathe Ngani, Nkada Agnes and Grace Ngock Yango.
The nation is still expecting Aboudi Onguene, Marie Awona, Leuko Yvonne, Fallone Meffoumetou and the sensational Gaelle Enganamouit. The U-17 captain of the national female team, Soline Djouba has been co-opted into the training sessions. The six players come at a time when their teammates are already in camp for the 2016 AFCON to begin in two weeks.
The girls of Carl Enow Ngatchu began their final training after a short break following the annulment of the return leg friendly against Kenya. To further improve on their play tactics, the lionesses will play two friendly matches against the East African Regional Champions, Tanzania in Yaoundé on November 10 and 13.
The Lionesses have been on an encouraging progress in form and style. According to some football pundits, recent victories recorded by the Lionesses against Mali and Kenya, both participants at the upcoming 2016 Women AFCON pundits is a plus to the Cameroonian team.
